The summer is a perfect time to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and the Fourth of July.
The public is invited to a grand, patriotic concert scheduled for Friday, June 26.
The 12th Annual St. Aloysius Catholic Church I Love America Concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26. The church is located at 751 Academy Drive in Bessemer.
Planning the flag-waving event are Paula Clowdus and Sam Morris.
The St. Aloysius Church Choir and The Waylighters, a local gospel quartet, will perform patriotic music at the concert. The audience is welcome to sing along.
The Hueytown American Legion Post 1228 will present the Colors and Service Flags from each branch of the military.
The Bessemer City High School JROTC will present a Presentation of Arms.
