The Bessemer Municipal Election will take place on Tuesday, August 25. The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Working in the healthcare industry for nearly 30 years, Councilwoman Jackson’s term has been proven, strong leadership with real results.
Councilwoman Jackson said, “These past four years have been exciting and educational. I am grateful to the good people of District 6 for giving me this grand opportunity.”
With an outgoing personality, she knows her district and works not only with her residents, but also for them, to build a better Bessemer.
Her goals for the next term include to continue building a better Bessemer, economic development (i.e. restaurants and boutiques), public safety, safe and stronger neighborhoods, better schools, fiscal responsibility, and engaged leadership starting in District 6.
