A special guest, Gregory Evan Thompson—genealogist of the Hale family and a member of the Mayflower Society—will be in attendance. This year’s scholarship recipients will also be presented during the Open House.
The 2026–2027 Society officers will be installed by Hoover Mayor Nick Derzis. Members of the historical society may renew their membership at the event, with annual dues costing $20 per person and $30 for a couple.
The Folklore Center, located on the Bluff Park School property, will be open for tours.
