Recently returning from a memorable Alaskan cruise are Hueytown residents Bonnie and Eric Frye, Kay and Darryl Barry, Darlene and Rich Britton, and Karla Albertus and Eric Hutcheson.
The group left Birmingham, flying to Seattle. There they boarded the Virgin Voyages ship, The Brilliant Lady.
While in Seattle, they took time to see the famous 605-foot tower, Space Needle.
During the 12-day Alaskan cruise, they docked at several ports, including Alaska’s first city, Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, Hoonah or Icy Strait Point, Haines, Prince Rupert, and Victoria, British Columbia.
They ate a lot of halibut in several charming coastal towns as they experienced the unique culture, stunning landscapes and rich history of Alaska, the Last Frontier.
