Sawyerville woman faces felony domestic violence charge

A Sawyerville woman was arrested Aug. 21 on a felony domestic violence charge, according to Hale County District Court records.

Nastassia Jemaisa Conner, 29, is charged with domestic violence in the second degree, a Class B felony. A sworn complaint filed in the case alleges Conner committed assault in the second degree in the early morning hours of Aug. 21, with the victim identified in the complaint as her boyfriend.

The complaint was sworn by a Greensboro police officer, and Conner was arrested the same day the offense is alleged to have occurred.

Bond was set at $5,000, and Conner remained in the Hale County Jail as of court records dated Aug. 26.
