A Fairfield man was arrested Aug. 31 on felony charges of electronic solicitation of a child and transmitting obscene material to a child, according to Hale County District Court records.
Rogericas Decarlo Morgan, 38, is charged with two Class B felonies. A sworn complaint alleges that on or about June 16, Morgan used an electronic device to solicit a girl for sexual purposes and transmitted obscene material to her, described in the complaint as a sexually explicit video of himself.
The complaint was sworn before a magistrate June 22 by a Hale County sheriff’s investigator. Morgan was arrested Aug. 31.
Bond was set at $60,000, and Morgan remained in the Hale County Jail as of court records dated Aug. 31.
