The 3rd Annual A Call for Prayer is planned for Saturday, August 22, on the front steps of the Bessemer City Hall. The prayer service starts at 12 noon. The public is invited.

Partnering for A Call for Prayer are School Board District 2 member Terry Dawson, School Board District 7 member Lee Jones, Bessemer City Council Councilwoman District 3 Sarah Bell Person and Bessemer City Council Councilman District 2 Chester W. Porter.
There will be a special performance by the Bessemer City Middle School Choir.
The participants believe that “Together we Pray, Together we Protect and Together we Thrive.”
