The 35th Annual An Evening of Honor sponsored by the Bessemer Area Chamber of Commerce will take place on Thursday, August 13, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Honored at the evening event at the Bessemer Civic Center will be Bessemer’s first responders and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
A highlight of the event will be the recognition of a hometown hero.
Also, the business of the year award will be presented.
Planning the exciting event are LaTasha Williams and Mary Milan.
Bessemer native, comedian Eunice Elliott will provide the evening’s entertainment.
Tickets are $80 per person, and a table of eight will cost you $600.
