“Tell of His glory among the nations.”
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May. This is a significant occasion when the American people are asked to “turn to God in prayer and meditation.”
In honor of the National Day of Prayer, The City of Bessemer’s National Day of Prayer program will be held on Thursday, May 7, at 12 noon.
This inspiring event will be held at the Bessemer Civic Center.
Salvation Army Area Commander Major Robert Lyle will be the guest speaker.
Please join area ministers, businesses, civic and community leaders as they pray for peace in our city, county, state and country.
For more information, please call the Chamber at 205-425-3253.
