A good, solid, decent man, John Sellers of Hoover is a well-respected member of the banking and arts community.
Recently, his wife, Deborah Sellers, hosted an intimate birthday dinner party at the historic Bright Star Restaurant. The occasion was John’s 80th birthday.
The members of John’s wine dinner club, The Grape Escape, welcomed him with shouts of “Happy Birthday” as he and Deborah entered the Anastasia dining room.
Enjoying a delicious meal and toasting John’s happy birthday were Ann and Mark Davis, Randy and LaDonna Gibbs and Ann and Chuck Potter.
For dessert, the wine enthusiasts enjoyed a pie sampling of the Bright Star’s pies, which were better than a Publix birthday cake.
