An Atmore woman was arrested Sept. 17 on a felony organized retail theft charge stemming from a July incident in Hale County, according to Hale County District Court records.
Latajma Juanye’ Dickerson, 29, of Atmore is charged with organized retail theft, a Class B felony. A sworn complaint filed in the case alleges the offense occurred on or about July 28 within Hale County. The complaint does not name the business involved, say where in the county the theft is alleged to have happened or describe the merchandise.
The complaint was sworn before a magistrate July 31, and Dickerson was arrested Sept. 17, court records show. The Hale County Sheriff’s Department listed the arrest in its weekly report.
Bond was set at $15,000. As of Sept. 21, Hale County District Court records listed Dickerson’s status as jailed.
The court appointed an attorney to represent her that day, and no hearing had been set as of that record.
