Antonious Johnson

An 18-year-old Orrville man is charged with second-degree rape and sodomy involving a minor, according to Perry County District Court records.

Antonious Johnson, 18, of Orrville is charged with rape in the second degree and sodomy in the second degree, each a Class B felony, and with possession of a pistol by a certain person forbidden, a Class A misdemeanor.

A sworn complaint filed by a Marion police officer alleges that on or about Sept. 20 in Perry County, Johnson engaged in sexual intercourse and sodomy with a minor who was at least 12 but younger than 16 and at least two years younger than he was. The complaint also alleges that Johnson, being a minor, had a pistol in his possession.

Johnson was arrested Oct. 1, the Marion Police Department said in a Facebook post Oct. 5, and the complaint was filed in district court Oct. 2. Bond was set at $33,000, and as of Oct. 2, court records listed Johnson’s status as jailed. The police department’s post said he was being held in the Marengo County Detention Center.
