A dozen students from Moundville and Greensboro were among some 7,000 graduates who received degrees at the University of Alabama’s spring commencement at Coleman Coliseum in May.
Local graduates were:
- Victoria Anderson of Moundville received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Grant Hawkins of Moundville received a Juris Doctor.
- Trey Howard of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences.
- Katelyn Johnson of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science in Education.
- Turner Johnson of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science in Education.
- Brandi Lester of Moundville received a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
- Lida Lewis of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Arts.
- Emily Patrick of Moundville received a Master of Social Work.
- Nathan Sims of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science.
- Aisha Smith of Moundville received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences.
- Makenzie Smith of Moundville received a Master of Public Administration.
- Rachel Waldman of Moundville received a Master of Arts.
