Graveside services for Gracie Delois Holley, 73, were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Dexter Thornton officiated.
Ms. Holley was born on March 19, 1952, to Mr. Anderson Holley and Mrs. Ocie Holley. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Valley A.M.E. Zion Church (Newbern Mission). She attended Sunshine High School and graduated in the Class of 1971.
Ms. Holley retired from the Hale County Hospital Dietary Department.
She departed this life on March 25, 2026, at Hale County Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, Charles Holley of Greensboro; two sisters, Roberta (Matthew) Nathan of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jacqueline Holley of Newbern; two aunts, Bertha Coke and Celestine Whittaker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
