The Council on Substance Abuse will hold a veterans benefits question-and-answer session Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Lottie’s Restaurant, 207 Washington St. in Marion.
The session runs from 10 a.m. until noon and is open to veterans and their families. The first 10 veterans to attend will receive a free lunch.
Organizers said the workshop will cover VA benefits, the PACT Act, filing questions and local resources for veterans, along with the Hope 4 Heroes and Families program. Time is set aside for attendees to ask questions directly.
