Bessemer City Councilwoman Donna Thigpen, District 4, believes that her experience, proven record of service and commitment to District 4 make her the best person to continue serving the good people of District 4.

As she seeks re-election, Councilwoman Thigpen thanks the voters for their trust, support and the opportunity to continue serving the community.

The Bessemer Municipal election is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25. The polls open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.

She listens to her residents, ask questions, studies the facts and makes informed decisions based on what she believes is in the best interest of the community and the city.

Councilwoman Thigpen wants to continue building on the progress made while ensuring that growth is responsible, transparent and benefits all of the residents of District 4.

She makes it clear that she voted no for the proposed data center because it was not the right project for that location or the right time for the community.

Councilwoman Thigpen said, “Serving District 4 has been one of the greatest privileges, and I would be honored to continue working for you.”

A voice for the people, she is committed to protecting taxpayer dollars and shaping a stronger future for our city.
