The Newbern Library is bringing a special program to the library on Friday, July 10, 2026, called “Nature on Wheels.” The nature-oriented program will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until 11:00 a.m. The program is an outreach initiative of the Alabama Nature Center, part of the larger Alabama Wildlife Federation in Millbrook, Alabama.
The event is one of the featured activities presented by the library as part of its Summer Reading and Enrichment program with the theme “Unearth a Story.”
According to Hollie Terry, Director of School Programs for the Alabama Wildlife Federation, they have:
“…created a custom program for your summer reading program that we are super excited about that will incorporate our animal ambassadors.”
The Newbern Library invites children and their families to come on this Friday, July 10, to this exciting interactive event at the library that is sponsored in part by grants from Black Belt Community Foundation and Wells Fargo.
