Two prominent Black Belt businesses have been listed for sale, each with asking prices exceeding $1 million.
Mustang, a longtime Greensboro restaurant and local landmark, is on the market for $1.5 million. Located at 905 Hobson Street, the property sits on 1.09 acres and features a 5,840-square-foot building that includes a fully equipped commercial kitchen, bar and service area, a large dining room, and extensive parking. The property is listed by Nich Parker of Bill Mackey Realty.
The restaurant moved to its current location in the former Champions restaurant building after its original site was destroyed in a vehicle crash several years ago. Over the years, Mustang has gained recognition beyond the local area and is widely considered one of the Black Belt’s most popular dining destinations.
In Marion, Blackbelt Hardware and Outdoors has been listed for $1.6 million through National Land Realty. The 5.42-acre property includes three buildings totaling approximately 41,000 square feet. Its primary structure is a 21,000-square-foot hardware store offering lumber, plumbing supplies, paint, hunting and fishing gear, power tools, and other merchandise. Two additional retail buildings, measuring 11,000 and 9,666 square feet, are currently vacant.
Owners Tim and Tyne Olkie established Blackbelt Hardware and Outdoors about a decade ago and expanded it into a major retail presence in the community. In a Facebook announcement regarding the sale, the owners said they are “moving on to new things that God has in store for us.”
The Marion property also includes tenants operating a restaurant and an ice machine business.
