Salvation Army takes Angel Tree applications through Oct. 16

Angel Tree application packets are available at the Salvation Army’s Demopolis Service Center, which serves families in Perry County and in Choctaw, Dallas, Lowndes, Marengo and Wilcox counties, the Salvation Army said in an Oct. 4 post.

Completed packets are due back by Friday, Oct. 16, “no exceptions,” according to the Salvation Army’s flyer.

Packets have been available since Wednesday, Sept. 16. They are limited and given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The service center is at 900 U.S. Highway 80 East in Demopolis, and its phone number is 334-289-6090. The Salvation Army said more information will be shared on its Facebook page.
