Arrests
September 28, 2026
Gawone Aquarius Sullivan, 22, of Greensboro, was arrested on two charges of discharging a firearm into an unoccupied building or vehicle and one charge of discharging a firearm into an occupied building.
September 30, 2026
Nanika Denise Burdine, 34, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear.
October 1, 2026
Melissa Marie Rayford, 42, of Greensboro, was arrested for adult violation of parental responsibility. Austin Brooks Barnette, 30, of Akron, was arrested on two charges of rape, first degree; two charges of sodomy, first degree; one charge of sexual abuse, first degree; one charge of sexual abuse of a child; and two charges of sexual misconduct. Jamichael Deshawn Burrell, 20, of Greensboro, was arrested on charges of assault, first degree, and discharging a firearm into an occupied building or vehicle.
October 3, 2026
Kendall Edward Grice, 33, of Greensboro, was arrested for driving under the influence.

Theft of property, first degree, was reported on Footwash Road near Faunsdale.
October 2, 2026
Harassing communications was reported on Alabama Highway 69 near Moundville. A miscellaneous report was taken on Millwood Road near Greensboro.
October 3, 2026
A miscellaneous report was taken on Jasmine Road near Greensboro.
October 4, 2026
Domestic violence harassment was reported on Thomas Lane near Greensboro.
