The afternoon begins at 3 p.m. in the HCHS cafeteria with a light meal and reception, band updates from Miss Hicks and Charlene Wiggins, the annual Hale County Alumni Band meeting, group photos and time to reconnect with classmates.
Alumni will march in with the band at Howell Field at 6:30 p.m. ahead of the 7 p.m. football game, take part during the quarters and join the band from the sideline at halftime, around 8 p.m., to perform a song along with the Wildcat Rag.
A practice will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. in front of Hale County Middle School.
Registration is $20, covering the meal, rental and insurance expenses and a small donation to the band, and should be sent by Cash App to $AlumniBandReunion by Sept. 9.
Game tickets can be pre-purchased for $10 each by submitting payment along with the names of those needing tickets, and Charlene Wiggins will purchase the tickets. T-shirt information is coming soon.
