The Marengo County Historical Society will hold its Rooster Auction and Membership Party on Sat., Aug. 15, at 6 p.m. at the Coplin Building, 203 E. Washington St. in Demopolis.
The evening will feature live and silent auctions, live music by Trey Rowell, food and BYOB. Auction items include a painting by Sierra Murphy, a gift card from Perfect Touch Clothing, an oil change and tire rotation from Lane’s Tire and Auto, McCarty’s pottery pieces donated by Martha Turner, and more.
Admission is $30 for individuals and $50 for couples, payable at the door the night of the auction.
Payment is also accepted in advance at the Canebrake Craft Corner next to Bluff Hall, open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 334-289-9644.
