Hale County families are invited to the FREE Newbern Back-to-Learning “PREP” Rally on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. in Newbern, Alabama.
Hosted by the Town of Newbern and the Newbern Library, the event will feature:
- Free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last)
- Teacher care kits
- Community resources
- Food
- Family fun
- Educational activities
The rally is designed to help students start the new school year prepared for success and is made possible through the support of America250AL.
