The University of West Alabama’s Cahaba Biodiversity Center in Bibb County will host a Moth-Spotting Adventure on July 24, at 7:00 p.m.
As part of National Moth Week, participants will have the opportunity to observe a variety of nocturnal moth species, learn how moths are attracted to light stations, and discover the important role these insects play as pollinators and indicators of a healthy environment.
Free to the public, Moth-Spotting Adventure is open to all ages and experience levels. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp.
UWA’s Cahaba Biodiversity Center is located at 5252 Birmingham Road, Centreville, Alabama. Participants should register online at https://forms.gle/Efc5883hYeRUL44c9 by July 22. For more information, contact Joan Rundles at jrundles@uwa.edu.
