It was a beautiful but warm evening at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover for the 23rd Annual Hydrangeas Under the Stars affair.
The Saturday, June 13, fundraiser benefited Aldridge Gardens. The cocktail reception and silent auction were held in the Aldridge House, while dinner and the live auction took place in The Pavilion.
The honorary hosts for the evening were The Honorable Nick Derzis, Mayor of the City of Hoover, and his wife, Stephanie Derzis. Leslie Shiffman Moore serves as President of the Board of Directors.
Tre Luna Catering in Hoover catered the event. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, mixed greens salad, boneless braised beef short ribs with grilled asparagus, and espresso cheesecake for dessert.
An exciting live auction followed dinner, with Mayor Derzis serving as auctioneer.
