Red, White & Boom is a free patriotic community celebration planned for Saturday, June 27, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hueytown City Park in Hueytown, Alabama. The event is being jointly organized by the Hueytown Chamber of Commerce and Hueytown CityFest in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

The day will begin with a Flag Parade at 3:30 p.m., followed by an afternoon and evening of live music, family activities, and community entertainment. Scheduled performers include Ava Theros, Nick Pierce, Motel Ice Machine, Even Odds, and Dr. Zarr’s Amazing Funk Monster, with Hannah McFarland as the headlining act. A fireworks show will take place after dark to conclude the celebration.

Children’s activities will include photo opportunities with Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities comfortably.

Sponsors supporting the event include Jefferson County Commissioner Jimmie Stephens, Baptist Health Princeton Hospital, Coca-Cola, the City of Hueytown, McDonald’s, City Auto Sales, and State Senator Merika Coleman.
