Jessica Nicole Hogan, 35, died on Thursday, June 12, 2026.
She was born on January 29, 1991, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa to Linda Jean Hogan and Johnny Ryans.
She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and attended Greensboro Public School in Greensboro. She enjoyed watching television and spending time with family and friends, and was known for her joyful personality and her constant expressions of love for those around her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Jean Hogan; one sister, Latesha Hogan; her grandparents, Isable Hogan, Obie Spencer, and Queen Ester Ryans; and four uncles, Samuel Lee Hogan, Obie Spencer Jr., Ervin Spencer, and Chester Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories six sisters, Moncia Hogan of Greensboro, Felicia Hogan of Demopolis, Ashley Hogan of Greensboro, April Ryans, Faye Ryans, and Jessica Ryans of Huntsville; two brothers, Danny Gooden of Tuscaloosa and Devante Simmons of Huntsville; eight aunts, Sharon Blackmon of Birmingham, Tracy Hogan of Newbern, Kimberly Hogan of Tuscaloosa, Judy Hogan of Northport, Odessa Hogan of Tuscaloosa, Ruby Jones of Greensboro, Eddie Mae Smith of Greensboro, and Queen Gooden of Greensboro; two uncles, Walter Ryans and Jesse Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Life Missionary Baptist Church, County Road 28, Greensboro, with Bishop Steven C. Moore officiating.
