Greensboro woman indicted on domestic violence charge in vehicle assault

A Greensboro woman has been indicted on a charge of domestic violence second degree after authorities say she struck a man with a vehicle.

A Hale County grand jury indicted Kashena Shantrica Tabb, 30, of Greensboro, on April 30 during the April 2026 term of circuit court. The indictment, filed May 15, charges Tabb with domestic violence second degree, a Class B felony, in connection with a Sept. 16, 2025, incident.

According to the indictment, Tabb is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to Kenny Nathaniel Williams by striking him with a vehicle. The indictment identifies Williams as a current or former spouse or a person with whom Tabb has or had a dating or engagement relationship.

Tabb was arrested on Sept. 16, 2025, the same day as the alleged offense. The arresting officer was Keith Edward Burch.

As of May 15, Hale County Circuit Court records listed Tabb’s bond at $10,000 through Perkins Bail Bonding of Greensboro, and her status as out on bond. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Donald L. McMillan, with arraignment scheduled for June 17. Robert Joseph Lee has been appointed as defense counsel. Sarah Elizabeth Holland of the Fourth Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office is prosecuting the case.
