This past Wednesday Pastor James Jones and the Faith to Favor congregation celebrated the second anniversary of their Community Giving Ministry.
“Two years ago we started fixing hot meals for the community. This is not just for the homeless; it’s for everyone within and throughout these city limits,” Pastor Jones told us.
The day usually consists of varied dishes served through the Faith to Favor kitchen committee where Pastor Jones himself helps with the preparation of such.
Door prizes were also given away this past week. It’s not just hot meals, as the church has also initiated their Free Thrift Store shopping mission that includes clothing and basic home necessities for those that come out and join in these blessed sharings. Everything from paper towels, dish detergents, paper towels and more can be gifted through Pastor Jones and the Faith to Favor family.
“We want everyone to come out and be ready to be loved on, given an over-amount of smiles, because God’s allowed us to be a blessing to all, and we just want everyone to come out and be blessed.”
