Easter Sunday Sunrise Service at 8 a.m. at the Salvation Army

It is the greatest event in the history of mankind—Easter Sunday.

The public is invited to join the Salvation Army in Bessemer as they celebrate Easter Sunday, April 5, with a Sunrise Service at 8:00 a.m. The Salvation Army is located at 525 13th Street North in Bessemer.

Bessemer Corps Administrator Sgt. Jim G. Lahman said, “Our Easter Sunday celebration is the culmination of a week filled with powerful events.” He added, “Our doors are open for all to attend our Easter services and celebrate the Resurrection of our King.”

Following the 8:00 a.m. Sunrise Service, a community breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m. Sunday School will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Easter Sunday worship service at 11:00 a.m.

The Salvation Army proudly proclaims: “In Christ, you are rescued, redeemed, loved, blessed, and never alone.”
