“Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!”
This will be the processional hymn at historic Trinity Episcopal Church’s Easter Holy Eucharist service on Easter Sunday, April 5. Bishop Kee Sloan will be the celebrant.
The public is invited to attend the 10:30 a.m. service. The historic church is located at 2014 Berkley Avenue in Bessemer.
As the first church in Bessemer, Trinity will be beautifully decorated for this Holy Day, the Sunday of the Resurrection. The Paschal Candle will burn for the next 50 days, from Easter Day through the Day of Pentecost.
