Easter Sunday weekend is always a glorious time for families and friends as they celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The Bessemer Salvation Army Salvation Station will host an Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to noon.
This family-friendly, fun event will be held at the Salvation Army located at 525 13th Street North in Bessemer. Planned activities include an Easter egg hunt, carnival, and cookout, with the Easter egg hunt starting at noon.
Bessemer Corps Administrator Sgt. Jim Lahman stated, “Our Easter Salvation Station Celebration is a safe environment for our children to enjoy this Christian holiday and festival.” He added, “Easter is the Super Bowl for Christians.”
The event is free, and the public is invited to join in celebrating the worship of our Lord.
