The Miss Bessemer Academy 2026 pageant was being held. The student body, family, and friends were anxiously anticipating the decision of the judges.
Margaret Elizabeth Moore was crowned Miss Bessemer Academy 2026. She looked stunning in a beautiful crystal-studded, royal blue satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, fishtail hem, and a flowing train.
The daughter of Brigitte and Bert Moore of McCalla, she is known as Maggie to her family and friends.
A junior at Bessemer Academy, she was also named Miss Congeniality.
Moore serves as an ambassador for the school, a member of the Varsity Cheer Team, and a SGA student representative. She is a member of Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church in McCalla.
Moore will wear her crown with grace and dignity whether in the classroom or attending a Beta Club meeting, Diamond Doll event, or Teens for Christ program.
She will enter college in the fall of 2027, and Moore is considering Samford University or Mississippi State University.
