The RPO Policy Committee will meet on Thursday, May 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the same location. Both meetings are also available virtually.
The RPO serves as a transportation planning process for rural areas of west Alabama and provides a formal link between the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and local governments in Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, and Pickens counties. It offers government officials and citizens an opportunity to advise ALDOT on road, bridge, and transit projects.
All meetings are open to the public. Those wishing to participate virtually should email zane.davis@westal.org at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Meeting documents are posted at warc.info/rpo-meetings and warc.info/rpo-documents.
Anyone requiring special assistance should contact the West Alabama Regional Commission (WARC) at (205) 333-2990 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
