Storage building project approved for Gulley Recreation Center

At a recent meeting of the Bessemer City Council, it was approved to enter into a professional services agreement between the City of Bessemer and EEFS Company, P.C.

Professional engineering, environmental, architectural, geotechnical, civil design, bid procurement, and construction administration services are required in order for the City of Bessemer to construct a storage building at the Kenneth E. Gulley Recreation Center.

The center is located at 100 14th Street, South.

The storage building will be built behind the Gulley Recreation Center and will be used for the storage of athletic equipment.

Councilwoman Donna Thigpen made a motion to approve the resolution. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Carla Jackson.

The motion was approved.
