INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE SALE OF STATE LAND LOCATED IN TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, ALABAMA

LOCATION OF PROPERTY SUBJECT OF THIS NOTICE:

The “Sharpes Lake Road Property,” more specifically described as follows:

A parcel of land located in a portion of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 20 South, Range 9 West and all of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 20 South, Range 10 West, that lies North and West of Lake Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, containing 20.96 acres more or less.

MINIMUM BID AMOUNT: $420,000

BID DEPOSIT: Each bid submitted must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check in the amount of $42,000 as bid deposit made payable to the State Lands Division which will be forfeited if the bid is accepted and the bidder does not complete the transaction within thirty (30) days of award.
