A Greensboro man was jailed Tuesday after being charged with drug offenses in Hale County District Court.
According to court records, Johnny Troydell White, 57, of 1705 Knight St. in Greensboro, was arrested on Feb. 10 and charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and one count of use or possession of drug paraphernalia. The case is docketed as State of Alabama v. Johnny Troydell White, case number DC-2026-900047.00, before District Judge Timothy A. Evans.
White’s bond was set at $31,000, and his status was listed as “jail” in Tuesday’s case entries. The charges stem from an investigation by Hale County authorities; the complaint in the case was sworn out by B. Toews of the Greensboro Police Department.
Court records did not yet list a trial date as of press time. White is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty in a court of law.
