Birth and Residence: Born and raised in Bardstown, KY; lived in Marion, AL since 1968.

Life and Legacy: Devoted organist for Siloam Baptist Church since the early 1980s, taught piano, and shared her musical talent at weddings, funerals, and local nursing homes.

Preceded in death by parents James Robert and Edith Adams Scobee, husband Arthur Lewis Ellis, and brother James Stephen Scobee.

Survived by sister Emma May Robinson; children Christopher Dale Ellis (Carol) and Angela Ellis Blocker (Dale); grandchildren Natalie Elizabeth Blocker, Christopher Dylan Ellis, and Matthew Cambron Blocker; and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services: Monday, February 2, at Siloam Baptist Church with Pastor John Nicholson officiating. Visitation 9:30–10:30 a.m., followed by funeral. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham at 2:30 p.m.
