At a recent meeting of the Bessemer City Council, a resolution was approved authorizing a services agreement in assembling the city’s BUILD Grant application.
It is the intent of the City of Bessemer to seek federal funding assistance through the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program.
Local Impact Analytics, LLC (LIA) offered to provide technical and administrative support services to the city.
Bessemer Mayor Kenneth Gulley has been authorized and directed to execute the services agreement on behalf of the city with Local Impact Analytics, LLC. The agreement is in the best interest of the city and will promote the efficient preparation and submission of the city’s federal grant application.
Councilman Chester W. Porter made a motion to approve the resolution. Councilwoman Carla Jackson seconded the motion. The motion carried.
