On Thursday, November 27, Pastor William Scott and the Macedonia Baptist Church celebrated their annual Thanksgiving Fellowship.

The service opened with devotion, as the congregation joined in harmonious spiritual praise. Pastor Scott then shared historical background information on the Thanksgiving holiday.

Pastor Marvin Williams of Friendship Baptist Church (12th Street North, Bessemer, Alabama 35020) delivered the message of the hour, taken from Psalms 100:4–5, titled “The Lord Is Worthy of Our Thanksgiving.” His sermon, which included personal trials and heartfelt tributes, prompted many in attendance to reflect on the events of the past year.

Combined choirs rendered songs of thankfulness, including “I’ll Draw All Men,” “Because He Lives,” and “(Let Us) Have a Little Talk With Jesus,” along with other selections, during the spiritually festive Thursday morning service.

We wish everyone a marvelous holiday season as we give thanks to our Lord and Savior, as well as our subscribers and readers—we are truly thankful for you all.
