The Hale County Sheriff’s Office will host a free Citizens Firearms Safety Course for individuals aged 19 and above.
The two-part course begins with a classroom session on Saturday, April 11, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hale County Courthouse.
Part two will be held at a designated firing range, potentially on the same day or on April 25, depending on the number of attendees. Participants may bring their own personal firearms to the range portion.
Those who complete both parts will receive a certificate.
The course will be led by a certified firearms instructor. For more information, contact the Hale County Sheriff’s Office at 334-624-3081 or by email at Clerk@halecoso.com.
