Many times, we wonder what it’s like to be around our significant others daily, and realistically the tiresome strain it may cause. Yet Henry and June Long are ready to show us all how successful and meaningful such could be.

With a spay and neuter clinic coming to the Pelham area, services will include soft tissue surgical procedures with a focus on affordable pricing.

“We want to partner with local rescue and shelter organizations, establishing ourselves as a community-based business. We also want this to be a teaching hospital and have students come in to receive on-the-job training as well,” Mr. Long told us.

Mrs. June is seeking to share her passion with others through mentorship as well.

“This was by complete accident that I found interest in this particular business,” Mrs. June told us. She continued, “I enjoyed the spay/neuter portion of surgical procedures within the veterinarian medium.”

Acting as owner/veterinarian, June will meet Henry alongside his clinic manager duties, ensuring the business’s success as well.

Due to over-population amongst cats and dogs, the Longs are looking to cut down on the stray, homeless, and unhealthy pet population through their spay/neuter business.

In helping to shelter and offer adoptable procedures for animals, the spay/neuter clinic will offer X-rays, blood work, mass removal, amputations, eye surgery, and other necessary procedures to make our cats’ and dogs’ lives better.

Online booking will be available, along with price listings and more.

“We will be another option for clients to receive affordable care for their pets within this area for lower prices due to the varied services we’ll be providing,” Mrs. Long added.

“This will help the greater community, as we want to make sure our rescue shelters know that we’re ready to partner, with the goal of helping to ensure a healthy pet population and allow our cats and dogs an opportunity for a stable and loving household,” Mr. Long stated.

We wish the Longs much success amid their new, purposeful venture to make a better way for the pets within our communities. Stay tuned for upcoming grand opening details.
