A single-vehicle crash at approximately 1:50 a.m. Monday, May 30, has claimed the life of a Tuscaloosa man. Ramone A. Hardy, 29, was fatally injured when the 2004 Toyota Camry he was driving left the roadway, struck a utility pole and overturned. Hardy was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, approximately five miles north of Northport, in Tuscaloosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
